Johor Bahru, December 10th, 2025 – IKRAM Works Sdn Bhd (IKRAM) successfully participated as an exhibitor at Hari Profesyen Teknikal Negara 2025, held from 10th to 11th December 2025 at Persada Johor, Johor Bahru. The two-day national-level event gathered professionals, government agencies, and industry stakeholders from the engineering and technical sectors, providing a strategic platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
IKRAM’s participation was driven by several key objectives, foremost of which was to showcase its expertise and comprehensive range of services. Visitors to the IKRAM exhibition booth were introduced to the company’s advanced engineering and consultancy solutions, data collection services, material testing capabilities, and strong track record in Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation. These offerings reflect IKRAM’s role as a multidisciplinary engineering solutions provider supporting projects across their entire lifecycle.
The event also enabled IKRAM to expand networking opportunities by engaging directly with industry professionals, representatives from government agencies, and potential collaborators. These interactions opened avenues for future partnerships and business opportunities, while further enhancing IKRAM’s brand visibility as a trusted and leading engineering consultancy in Malaysia.
In line with IKRAM’s commitment to knowledge sharing, the exhibition highlighted the company’s innovative approaches, including 5D BIM and LOD500 applications, slope stability analysis, and climate change adaptation strategies. These topics resonated strongly with the event’s technical audience, particularly in addressing current challenges in infrastructure development and asset management.
Supporting the Government’s initiative through the Ministry of Works to promote BIM adoption in construction processes and deliverables, IKRAM took a significant step forward by prominently featuring its BIM Department at the exhibition. This initiative demonstrated IKRAM’s readiness to support national digital transformation efforts within the construction
industry.
As part of this showcase, Mr. Ts. Mohd Farhan Hasan, Assistant BIM Manager of IKRAM Works Sdn Bhd, engaged with visitors to highlight the importance of BIM and the full range of BIM services offered by IKRAM. Particular attention was given to “Scan-to-BIM” services, which leverage Terrestrial Laser Scanners (TLS), drone technology, and LiDAR to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data richness in construction projects.
A key attraction at the booth was the live demonstration of TLS equipment, where audiences were introduced to how real world conditions are captured and converted into point cloud data. Mr. Farhan further explained how this data can be used for various analyses, supporting design validation, as-built modelling, and informed decision-making throughout the
project lifecycle.
Through its participation, IKRAM also reinforced its advocacy for sustainable and resilient engineering practices, particularly in road construction and maintenance, aligning with the overarching themes of the conference.
Overall, IKRAM’s presence at Hari Profesyen Teknikal Negara 2025 successfully
strengthened industry engagement, showcased technological leadership, especially in BIM
and reaffirmed the company’s mission as the Centre of Engineering Solutions committed to
innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
