KANGAR, 4 August 2026 – IKRAM Works Sdn. Bhd. (IKRAM) was honoured to receive an invitation from Kolej Vokasional Kangar to participate in the Hari TVET Kolej Vokasional Kangar 2.0, including the proposed Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) exchange and strategic collaboration ceremony held at Dewan Murni, Kolej Vokasional Kangar, Perlis.
Hari TVET Kolej Vokasional Kangar 2.0 was organised to provide greater exposure and promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a quality education pathway that is responsive to current industry needs. The programme also served as a platform to strengthen engagement between educational institutions and industry, particularly in preparing students with relevant technical competencies, workplace exposure and career readiness.
The two-day programme, held on 3 and 4 August 2026, featured a range of activities including innovation and career exhibitions, interview preparation workshops, simulated job interviews, an innovation pitching competition and the forum “Kemahiran Hari Ini, Kerjaya Masa Depan”. The programme also included opportunities for participating organisations to contribute as exhibitors and interview simulation panellists, providing students with valuable exposure to real industry expectations and professional practices.
A key highlight of the programme was the scheduled Memorandum Persefahaman and Strategic Collaboration Ceremony on 4 August 2026. The initiative reflects Kolej Vokasional Kangar’s commitment to developing stronger relationships with industry partners and creating opportunities for closer cooperation between technical education and the professional sector.
For IKRAM, engagement with TVET institutions is aligned with the organisation’s broader commitment to supporting the development of future technical talent and strengthening industry-academia collaboration. Such initiatives provide an important platform for industry practitioners to share professional knowledge, introduce students to current engineering practices and contribute towards developing graduates who are better prepared to meet evolving industry requirements.
As an Engineering & Consultancy organisation, IKRAM continues to recognise the importance of collaboration between industry and educational institutions in developing competent, adaptable and industry-ready technical professionals. Engagements of this nature also create avenues for future cooperation in technical knowledge sharing, professional development, industrial exposure and other mutually beneficial initiatives.
IKRAM appreciates the invitation extended by Kolej Vokasional Kangar and welcomes opportunities that contribute towards strengthening Malaysia’s TVET ecosystem and nurturing the next generation of skilled technical professionals.
