Kajang, 7 April 2026 — IKRAM welcomed representatives from GPS Lands (M) Sdn. Bhd. to its headquarters in Kajang for a technical visit aimed at fostering collaboration and exploring advancements in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and geospatial technologies.
The visiting delegation from GPS Lands comprised Mr. Ahmad Thaariq, Technical Support Manager; Mrs. Aimi Nadira, Senior Sales & Support Engineer; and Mr. Muhammad Fauzi, Technical Support Engineer. The session was chaired by Dato’ Ir. Ts. Hj. Mohd Taufik Bin Haron, Chief Executive Officer of IKRAM Works Sdn. Bhd., and attended by members of IKRAM’s Construction & BIM division.
The programme commenced with an opening address by Dato’ Ir. Ts. Hj. Mohd Taufik, who welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing technical capabilities. This was followed by a presentation from IKRAM, delivered by Mr. Ts. Mohd Farhan Bin Hasan, highlighting the organisation’s background, core services, and its expertise in BIM.
GPS Lands then took the stage with a comprehensive technical presentation, introducing their company profile along with a range of products and services. A key highlight was the unveiling of advanced Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) equipment by Riegl, showcasing cutting-edge capabilities that integrate BIM and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies. In addition, GPS Lands introduced their subsidiary, Allterra Malaysia, which focuses on promoting Trimble Geospatial solutions. The technologies and services presented were well received by IKRAM, as they align closely with the organisation’s technical direction and future service enhancements.
The session concluded with an engaging discussion between both parties, reflecting strong mutual interest in potential collaboration opportunities. The visit ended on a positive note with a group photo session, marking a successful and fruitful exchange of knowledge.
