HULU SELANGOR, 10 February 2026 – The Sesi Taklimat dan Lawatan Tapak Projek Kerja-kerja Penstabilan Cerun at Apartment Kenanga, Hulu Selangor was successfully held, bringing together representatives from government agencies, local authorities, industry players, and academia. The event highlighted the progress of the slope remedial project and showcased the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the project.
The programme began with the arrival of distinguished guests from various agencies including Jabatan Kerja Raya Selangor, JKR Geoteknik, JKR Cawangan Kejuruteraan Cerun, JKR Hulu Selangor, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam, Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya, Majlis Perbandaran Hulu Selangor, Majlis Perbandaran Sepang, Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya, Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Selangor and Majlis Perbandaran Selayang.
Representatives from private sector organisations also attended the event, including Perunding DMA Sdn. Bhd., BIMAGE Consulting Sdn. Bhd., GPS Lands Sdn. Bhd., Bina Cloud Sdn. Bhd. and Infrasel Sdn. Bhd.. The education sector was also represented by delegates from Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah Behrang.
The ceremony was officially officiated by Puan Sharifah Binti Atan, Director of the Engineering Department at Majlis Perbandaran Hulu Selangor. This was followed by a welcoming speech delivered by Dato’ Ir. Ts. Hj. Mohd. Taufik Bin Haron, Chief Executive Officer of IKRAM Works Sdn. Bhd..
A key highlight of the event was the BIM presentation session conducted by several representatives from IKRAM Works Sdn. Bhd., namely Che Hafriz Naim Bin Che Yusof, Ts. Mohd Farhan Bin Hasan, Ts. Eezwan Bin Md Yusoff, and Ts. Mohd Hafiz Bin Mohd Razali. The session provided insights into the application of BIM in slope remedial construction, including digital coordination, construction planning, and cost management through advanced modelling technologies.
The presentations generated strong engagement from participants, with many questions and technical discussions raised by attendees from various agencies and sectors. Feedback from participants was highly positive, reflecting strong interest in the BIM approach implemented in the project and its potential for wider adoption in future infrastructure and slope engineering projects.
The event concluded with a group photography session followed by a networking lunch, allowing participants to further exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration among government agencies, industry professionals, and academic institutions.
